Umay Publishing House has become the second publisher from Türkiye to be included in the JISC (Sherpa) list, widely regarded as the “gold standard” and a benchmark for transparency in global academic publishing! We are proud to be included in this list, which features 101 publishers, including industry giants such as SAGE, Elsevier, De Gruyter, Brill, and Routledge.

Umay Publishing House is an institution recognized as a “renowned international publisher.” In addition to meeting the definition specified in YÖK and ÜAK decisions—namely, “a publishing house that has been active at the international level for at least five years, whose published books are cataloged in the libraries of universities ranked among the top 500 worldwide by ranking organizations recognized by the Higher Education Council, and which has simultaneously published at least twenty books by different authors”— it holds the status of a “publishing house that has published at least 20 books in languages other than Turkish by different authors.” Click here to access information and documents from the international publishing house.
