As part of the Umay Publishing Group (Umay Publishing House, Umay Journal of Faith and Cultural Studies—ISSN: 2980-1192—, Umay Symposium on Faith and Cultural Studies), Umay Publishing House is an institution based in Samsun, Turkey, that holds the status of a “renowned international publishing house.” In addition to meeting the definition specified in YÖK and ÜAK decisions—namely, “a publishing house that has been active at the international level for at least five years, whose published books are cataloged in the libraries of universities ranked among the top 500 worldwide by ranking organizations recognized by the Higher Education Council, and which has simultaneously published at least twenty books by different authors”— it holds the status of a “publishing house that has published at least 20 books in languages other than Turkish by different authors.”
Umay Publishing House, whose books are ranked among the world’s top 500 universities by leading global university ranking organizations such as “QS, THE (Times Higher Education), ARWU (Shanghai), CWTS Leiden, and URAP,” and are listed among the world’s top 500 universities by leading global university ranking organizations such as “Harvard University, MIT, UCLA, Georgetown University, Manchester University, Simon Fraser University, UC Berkeley, University of Alberta, University of Chicago, University of Oxford, University of Sydney, Columbia University, Utrecht University, Cornell University, Montana State University, Northwestern University, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, The University of Melbourne, Bochum University, Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (HSBI), Mannheim University, TH Köln, and Worms University.”
As a partner of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), books published by Umay Publishing are available in global repositories and platforms such as “Google Books, BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine), Open Aire, Data Cite, ISBNdb, Google Scholar, SAH Commons, KC Commons, FigShare, StemEd+ Commons, Up Commons, Open Alex, ARLIS/NA, Open Library, and WorldCat.” Additionally, Umay Publishing has signed content agreements with global distribution partners in numerous countries, ranging from the United Kingdom to the United States. Publishing in electronic, hybrid, and print formats in languages such as Turkish, German, English, French, and Russian, Hindi, Spanish.
