Öz:
The Study of Roman History, Roma tarihinin araştırılmasında izlenmesi gereken yöntemleri tartışan akademik bir çalışmadır.
Abstract:
In The Study of Roman History, Henderson provides a methodological exploration of how Roman history should be approached and interpreted. He evaluates the reliability of ancient sources, the challenges of historiography, and the institutional development of the Roman Republic and Empire. The book stresses that Roman history is not simply a record of wars and political events but a complex system of legal, administrative, and intellectual traditions. By combining classical philology with critical historical analysis, Henderson advocates for a disciplined and analytical framework in the study of Rome’s past.
