Öz:
Lucien Goldmann, bu eserinde beşeri bilimlerin metodolojisini felsefi bir temelde yeniden inşa etmeyi amaçlar. Pozitivizmin insani olguları laboratuvar nesnesi gibi gören mesafeli yaklaşımını eleştirirken, mutlak öznelciliğin keyfiliğine de karşı çıkar. Yazar, nesne ile özne arasındaki diyalektik bağı vurgulayarak “oluşumsal yapısalcılık” (structuralisme génétique) kuramını ortaya koyar. Ona göre kültürel, edebi ve sosyal yapılar, bireysel dehaların değil, belirli toplumsal sınıfların kolektif bilincinin ve zihniyet yapılarının ürünüdür. Goldmann, toplumsal olguları anlamlandırmak için felsefe ile sosyolojinin entegre edilmesi gerektiğini savunur ve beşeri bilimlere bütüncül bir metodoloji kazandırır.
Abstract:
In this seminal work, Lucien Goldmann aims to reconstruct the methodology of the human sciences on a solid philosophical foundation. He criticizes positivism for treating human phenomena as mere laboratory objects, while equally rejecting the arbitrariness of absolute subjectivism. Emphasizing the dialectical bond between the subject and the object, Goldmann introduces his theory of “genetic structuralism.” He argues that cultural, literary, and social structures are not products of isolated individual genius, but rather reflect the collective consciousness and mental structures of specific social classes. Goldmann asserts that philosophy and sociology must be integrated to comprehend social facts, offering a holistic methodology for the humanities.
