Öz:
The Mind and Its Education adlı eserinde George Herbert Betts insan zihninin yapısını ve bunun eğitimle ilişkisini ele alır.
Abstract:
The Mind and Its Education by George Herbert Betts examines the nature of the human mind and its significance for educational practice. The book explains fundamental mental processes such as sensation, perception, memory, imagination, thinking, and emotion, showing how they interact in learning. Betts argues that effective education requires understanding how the mind develops and functions. By connecting psychology with pedagogy, he demonstrates how teachers can organize instruction to support attention, motivation, and meaningful learning. The work emphasizes the unity of mind and body and highlights the role of environment and experience in shaping intellectual and moral development.
