Loewenfeld, dönemin üniversite yaşamında yaygın olan içki kültürünü eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirir ve tıbbi gözlemlerle desteklenen uyarılarda bulunur. Abstract:
In Student und Alkohol, Leopold Loewenfeld explores the physiological, psychological, and social consequences of alcohol consumption among university students. Drawing on medical expertise, he evaluates how drinking habits affect cognitive performance, moral development, and academic responsibility. The work critically addresses the drinking culture prevalent in German universities of the period and warns against its long-term intellectual and health consequences. Loewenfeld’s study represents an early scientific intervention in discussions of addiction and youth behavior, combining clinical observation with social critique.
