Halil Oğlu Ali’nin Yusuf ile Züleyha Hikâyesi – Prof. Dr. Şahin KÖKTÜRK

Öz:
Vahye dayanan Yusuf kıssası hemen her devirde kalem erbabının ilgisini çekmiştir. Manzum veya mensur yeni metinler halinde tekrar tekrar kaleme alınmıştır. Elimizdeki metin de dörtlüklerle yazılmış uzun bir destan şeklindedir. Bu tür metinlerin nüshaları üzerinde karşılaştırmalı akademik çalışmalar yapılsa da çoğu kitap haline getirilemediğinden basılmamış tezler olarak kalmakta, dolayısıyla okuyucuyla da buluşamamış olmaktadır. Latin harflerine aktarılıp Turkish Studies dergisinde daha önce metni yayımlanmış olan bu nüshanın, eski yazıyla olan asıl nüshasıyla birlikte ve bazı gerekli bilgiler ilavesiyle bir kitap haline getirilmesinin faydalı olacağını düşündük. Aynı mısra bir dörtlükte iki defa yazılmış ise dörtlük eksik ise kafiyede, vezinde, anlamda bir uyuşmazlık varsa Râsim Deniz’in doktora tezindeki metinden yararlanılarak kısmî bir metin tamiri yoluna gidildi ve bu kısımlar italik olarak yazıldı. Asıl metinde “öğüt, bagışla-, baf, degin” gibi gayın ve kefle yazılmış olan bazı kelimeler yumuşak g (ğ) ile aktarıldı. -İ halinin imlası “ye üzeri hemze” şeklinde olan kelimeler -yı, -yi (kıssa’i=kıssayı, Zelhâ’i=Zelhayı) şeklinde yazıldı. Aktarılan metinde özel isimlerden sonra ekleri ayırmak için kesme işareti (‘) konulmadı. Varak numaraları Latin harfli metinde sayfa sonunda gösterildi. Çalışma, eser ve şairi hakkında olabildiğince ayrıntılı bilgi verilen “Giriş”, bir karşılaştırma yapılabilmesi için Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’deki “Yusuf Sûresi’nin meali”, çeviriyazılı olmayan “Latin harflerine aktarılmış metin”, dilbilim çalışmalarında da yararlı olabilir düşüncesiyle “eski harfli metin”, kaynakça, dizin ve sözlükten oluşmaktadır.

Abstract:
The story of Joseph, based on revelation, has attracted the attention of writers in almost every era. It has been repeatedly written in the form of new texts, either in verse or prose. The text we have is a long epic written in quatrains. Although comparative academic studies have been conducted on copies of such texts, most of them have not been published as books and remain as unpublished theses, thus failing to reach readers. We thought it would be useful to compile this copy, which was previously published in the Turkish Studies journal after being transcribed into Latin letters, into a book, together with the original copy in the old script and with some necessary information added. If the same line was written twice in a quatrain, if the quatrain was incomplete, or if there was a discrepancy in rhyme, meter, or meaning, a partial text restoration was attempted using the text from Râsim Deniz’s doctoral thesis, and these parts were written in italics. In the original text, some words written with gayn and kef, such as “öğüt, bagışla-, baf, degin,” were transcribed with a soft g (ğ). Words whose spelling in the -i form was “ye üzeri hemze” were written as -yı, -yi (kıssa’i=kıssayı, Zelhâ’i=Zelhayı). In the transcribed text, no apostrophe (‘) was used to separate suffixes after proper nouns. Folio numbers are shown at the end of the page in the Latin alphabet text. The “Introduction ,“ a ”transliterated text“ (not a transcription) for comparison purposes, a ”text in old letters” (which may also be useful for linguistic studies), a bibliography, an index, and a glossary.
