İlkadım Resimli Türkçe Sözlük – Muhammet Memiş

Öz:
İlkadım Resimli Türkçe Sözlük, Türkçede en sık kullanılan ilk 1000 sözcüğün resimli sözlüğünü oluşturmak hedefiyle hazırlanmış; bu kapsamda en sık kullanılan 1273 sözcüğü içeren bir başvuru kaynağıdır. Sözlükte yer alacak sözcüklerin belirlenmesinde, Türkçedeki kelime sıklığını ortaya koyan Türkçe Ulusal Derlemi esas alınmış; derlem havuzunda yer alan ilk 3000 sözcük arasından sözlüğe alınmaya elverişli olanlar, sıklık verileri, A1-A2 düzeyine uygunluk, eş dizimlilik gibi ölçütler dikkate alınarak seçilmiş ve sözlük kapsamına alınmıştır.

Sözlükte yer alan her bir sözcük için aşağıdaki unsurlara yer verilmiştir:

• Her kelime için ilgili sözcüğün anlamını betimleyen bir görsel,
• Temel düzeydeki öğrenenlerin seviyesine uygun olarak yazılamaya çalışılan Türkçe bir tanım,
• Sözcüğün anlamını ve görselde betimlenen içeriği açıklayan ve dil bilgisel açıdan basit yapıda örnek bir cümle,
• İlgili sözcükle sıklıkla bir arada kullanılan eş dizimli diğer sözcüklere örnek,
• Eş, yakın veya zıt anlamlısı bulunan sözcüklerin eş, yakın veya zıt anlamlı eşleri,
• Fiil türündeki sözcükler için birlikte kullanılan hâl ekleri,
• Her sözcüğün İngilizce karşılığı.

İlkadım Resimli Türkçe Sözlük, bu özellikleriyle, yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi alanında seviye, sıklık ve hedef kitle ölçütleri esas alınarak temel düzeye yönelik renkli ve resimli olarak tasarlanmış ilk sözlüktür.

Abstract:
The Illustrated Turkish Dictionary of First Steps was prepared to create an illustrated dictionary of the 1000 most frequently used words in Turkish; in this context, it serves as a reference source containing the 1273 most frequently used words. The words included in the dictionary were selected based on the Turkish National Corpus, which reveals the frequency of words in Turkish. From the first 3000 words in the corpus, those suitable for inclusion in the dictionary were selected based on criteria such as frequency data, suitability for A1-A2 levels, and collocation, and were included in the dictionary.

The following elements are included for each word in the dictionary:
• An image describing the meaning of each word,

• A Turkish definition written at a level suitable for basic learners,
• An example sentence with a simple grammatical structure explaining the meaning of the word and the content depicted in the image,
  • Examples of other words that are often used in combination with the relevant word,
• Synonyms, near-synonyms, or antonyms of words that have synonyms, near-synonyms, or antonyms,
• Case suffixes are used with words that are verbs,
• The English equivalent of each word.

With these features, İlkadım Illustrated Turkish Dictionary is the first dictionary designed in color and with illustrations for beginners, based on the criteria of level, frequency, and target audience in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners.
