Diyarbekir’de Edebî Muhitler – Mustafa Uğurlu Arslan

Öz:
XI. yüzyıldan itibaren Türk yönetimine geçen ve zaman zaman Türk boylarına başkentlik yapan Diyarbekir, siyasî sahada olduğu kadar edebî muhit olarak da önemli bir kültür merkezidir. Özellikle XVIII. yüzyılda şair Âgâh zamanında Diyarbekir’de âlim ve şairleri bir araya getiren edebî topluluğun varlığı, şehri edebî faaliyetlerin icra edildiği bir merkez haline getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle şehrin tarihî seyir içerisinde hangi medeniyetlere ev sahipliği yaptığı, bir sanat şehri olarak Diyarbekir’in yeri ve önemi mekân ve insan bağlamında ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra ise eserin muhtevasını oluşturan asıl konuya geçilmiştir. Bu bağlamda Diyarbekir’de edebiyat ve sanat faaliyetlerinin hangi şartlar altında gelişme kaydettiği, sanatkârların hangi edebî mahfillerde bir araya geldikleri, bu mekânlarda hangi eserleri okudukları, dolayısı ile bu edebî muhitlerin kültür aktarımı ve insan yetiştirmede rolünün ne olduğu ele alınmıştır. Diyarbekir’de edebî muhitlerin teşekkülünde şüphesiz Diyarbekir halkının şiir ve edebiyata olan ilgileri, devlet adamlarının şair ve sanat adamlarına gösterdikleri ihtiramın etkisi oldukça büyüktür. Kitabın son bölümünde ise yaşadığımız asırda Diyarbekir’de edebiyat ve sanat ortamları ile Diyarbekir’in sanat ve edebiyatına katkı sunan şahsiyetler ele alınmıştır.
Abstract:
From the 11th century onwards, Diyarbekir, which came under Turkish rule and occasionally served as the capital of Turkish tribes, was an important cultural center both in the political sphere and as a literary milieu. Particularly in the 18th century, during the time of the poet Âgâh, the existence of a literary community that brought together scholars and poets in Diyarbekir turned the city into a center for literary activities. This study first attempts to examine which civilizations the city has hosted throughout its history and the place and importance of Diyarbekir as a city of art in the context of space and people. Then, the study moves on to the main subject that constitutes the content of the work. In this context, it examines the conditions under which literary and artistic activities developed in Diyarbekir, the literary circles where artists gathered, the works they read in these places, and, consequently, the role of these literary circles in cultural transmission and human development. Undoubtedly, the interest of the people of Diyarbekir in poetry and literature and the respect shown by statesmen to poets and artists had a significant impact on the formation of literary circles in Diyarbekir. The final chapter of the book examines the literary and artistic environments in Diyarbekir in our century and the personalities who have contributed to Diyarbekir’s art and literature.
