Mehmed Esʽad Ağa Dîvânı ‎‎(İnceleme-Çeviri Yazılı Metin-Sözlük) – Dr. Havva Tok Yıldız

Öz:
Mehmed Esʽad Ağa, 18. yüzyılın sonuyla 19. yüzyılın başlarında yaşamış, Enderun’da yetişmiş ve devlet adamı kimliğinin yanı sıra üç dilde şiir yazacak kadar başarılı bir dîvân şairidir. Anadolu ve Rumeli’nin birçok yerinde görev almış ve birçok defa sürgüne gönderilmiş olan şair, çalkantılı bir hayat sürmüştür. Mehmed Esʽad Ağa hakkında kaynaklarda sınırlı bilgiler yer almaktadır. Hazîne-i Hümayûn şairleri arasında değerlendirilen Mehmed Esʽad Ağa’nın velûd bir şair olduğundan bahsedilse de dîvânı hakkında bir bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Mehmed Esʽad Ağa’nın hayatını ve dîvânını tetkik etmektir. Çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde dîvânın farklı bir müellif ismine kayıtlı olması meselesi açıklığa kavuşturulup Mehmed Esʽad Ağa’nın hayatı ve edebî şahsiyeti gibi bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölüm; dîvânın tür, şekil, vezin, kafiye, atasözleri, edebî sanatlar ve poetika gibi farklı açılardan bölümlere ayrılarak tahlil edildiği bölümdür. Yine bu bölümde dîvânın muhteva özellikleri, dinî ve tasavvufî muhteva, şahıslar, ülke ve şehirler, hayvanlar ve efsanevî varlıklar, kozmik âlem ve tabiat başlıkları bölümler hâlinde müstakil olarak incelenmiş ve tamamı alt başlıklara ayrılarak detaylandırılmıştır. Üçüncü bölüm nüsha tavsîfi kısmıdır. Bu bölümde imlâ özellikleri incelenmiş, metnin kuruluşunda takip edilen yöntem verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde çeviri yazılı metin verilmiş, beşinci bölüm olan sonuç başlığı altında çalışma genel hatlarıyla değerlendirilip öneriler sunulmuştur. Son olarak kaynakça kısmı eklenmiş, ekler bölümünde nüshanın vikâye sayfalarında bulunan ve farklı şairlerden alıntılanmış 26 müfred ile şairin farklı eserlerde yer alan şiirlerine yer verilmiştir. Sözlük bölümü eklenerek çalışma tamamlanmıştır.  Her edebî metin, kurmaca bir yapı arz eder ve her okunduğunda yeniden kurulup yapılandırılır. Bu noktada yukarıda yer alan başlıklarla sınırlandırılan Es‛ad Dîvânı, birçok açıdan daha araştırmaya ve tetkik edilmeye muhtaçtır. Bu çalışmanın nihai amacı, bundan sonra eser üzerinde yapılacak olan çalışmalara zemin hazırlamak ve Esʽad Dîvânı’nın edebî değerinin anlaşılıp Türk edebiyatındaki yerini almasına katkı sağlamaktır.

Abstract:
Mehmed Esʽad Ağa lived at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Educated at the Enderun, he was not only a statesman but also a successful divan poet who wrote poetry in three languages. The poet, who served in many places in Anatolia and Rumelia and was exiled many times, led a turbulent life. There is limited information about Mehmed Esʽad Ağa in the sources. Although Mehmed Esʽad Ağa, who is considered among the poets of the Imperial Treasury, is said to have been a prolific poet, there is no information about his divan. The aim of this study is to examine the life and divan of Mehmed Esʽad Ağa. The study consists of five sections. The first chapter clarifies the issue of the divan being registered under a different author’s name and provides information about Mehmed Esʽad Ağa’s life and literary personality. The second chapter analyzes the divan from different perspectives, such as genre, form, meter, rhyme, proverbs, literary arts, and poetics. This section also examines the content characteristics of the divan, its religious and mystical content, persons, countries and cities, animals and mythical beings, the cosmic universe, and nature, each examined independently in separate sections and detailed under subheadings. The third section is the description of the manuscript. This section examines the spelling characteristics and provides the method followed in the composition of the text. The fourth section provides the written translation, and the fifth section, titled “Conclusion,” evaluates the work in general terms and offers recommendations. Finally, a bibliography has been added, and the appendix section includes 26 quotations from different poets found on the manuscript’s vikâye pages, as well as poems by the poet from different works. A glossary section has been added to complete the study. Every literary text has a fictional structure and is reconstructed and restructured each time it is read. At this point, the Esad Divan, limited by the headings above, requires further research and examination in many respects. The ultimate goal of this study is to lay the groundwork for future work on the work and to contribute to the understanding of the literary value of the Esad Divan and its place in Turkish literature.
