Educated at the Enderun, he was not only a statesman but also a successful divan poet who wrote poetry in three languages. The poet, who served in many places in Anatolia and Rumelia and was exiled many times, led a turbulent life. There is limited information about Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa in the sources. Although Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa, who is considered among the poets of the Imperial Treasury, is said to have been a prolific poet, there is no information about his divan. The aim of this study is to examine the life and divan of Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa. The study consists of five sections. The first chapter clarifies the issue of the divan being registered under a different author's name and provides information about Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa's life and literary personality. The second chapter analyzes the divan from different perspectives, such as genre, form, meter, rhyme, proverbs, literary arts, and poetics. This section also examines the content characteristics of the divan, its religious and mystical content, persons, countries and cities, animals and mythical beings, the cosmic universe, and nature, each examined independently in separate sections and detailed under subheadings. The third section is the description of the manuscript. This section examines the spelling characteristics and provides the method followed in the composition of the text. The fourth section provides the written translation, and the fifth section, titled \u201cConclusion,\u201d evaluates the work in general terms and offers recommendations. Finally, a bibliography has been added, and the appendix section includes 26 quotations from different poets found on the manuscript's vik\u00e2ye pages, as well as poems by the poet from different works. A glossary section has been added to complete the study. Every literary text has a fictional structure and is reconstructed and restructured each time it is read. At this point, the Esad Divan, limited by the headings above, requires further research and examination in many respects. Educated at the Enderun, he was not only a statesman but also a successful divan poet who wrote poetry in three languages. The poet, who served in many places in Anatolia and Rumelia and was exiled many times, led a turbulent life. There is limited information about Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa in the sources. Although Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa, who is considered among the poets of the Imperial Treasury, is said to have been a prolific poet, there is no information about his divan. The aim of this study is to examine the life and divan of Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa. The study consists of five sections. The first chapter clarifies the issue of the divan being registered under a different author's name and provides information about Mehmed Es\u02bdad A\u011fa's life and literary personality. The second chapter analyzes the divan from different perspectives, such as genre, form, meter, rhyme, proverbs, literary arts, and poetics. This section also examines the content characteristics of the divan, its religious and mystical content, persons, countries and cities, animals and mythical beings, the cosmic universe, and nature, each examined independently in separate sections and detailed under subheadings. The third section is the description of the manuscript. This section examines the spelling characteristics and provides the method followed in the composition of the text. The fourth section provides the written translation, and the fifth section, titled \u201cConclusion,\u201d evaluates the work in general terms and offers recommendations. Finally, a bibliography has been added, and the appendix section includes 26 quotations from different poets found on the manuscript's vik\u00e2ye pages, as well as poems by the poet from different works. A glossary section has been added to complete the study. Every literary text has a fictional structure and is reconstructed and restructured each time it is read. At this point, the Esad Divan, limited by the headings above, requires further research and examination in many respects.
