<p><strong>Öz: </strong><br>Giacomo Donati’nin <em>La psicologia scientifica</em> adlı eseri, psikolojinin felsefi spekülasyonlardan sıyrılarak ampirik ve disiplinler arası bir bilim dalına dönüşümünü inceler. Metin; bilimsel metodoloji, kontrollü gözlem ve deneysel yöntemlerin insan zihni, duyusal algı ve bilinç süreçlerine nasıl uygulanması gerektiğini açıklar. Donati, psikolojik olguların soyut içe bakış yöntemleri yerine ölçülebilir nörofizyolojik temeller ve fiziksel tepkiler üzerinden araştırılmasını savunur. Zihin ile beden arasındaki ilişkiyi deneysel verilerle kurmayı hedefleyen yapıt, nesnellik ve tekrarlanabilirlik ilkelerini öne çıkarır.
