Abstract:<\/strong>
Among literary genres, poetry possesses its own unique characteristics. Through poetry, words generally acquire a multi-layered realm of meaning. The world of poetry\u2014where words meet thought, images meet memory, and sound meets meaning\u2014transforms the literary text from a mere object to be read, making it possible to interpret, rethink, and multiply it through different modes of reading. This study, titled From Logos to Rhetoric: Studies in Modern Turkish Literature\u2014Poetry<\/em>, is based on the idea of examining the transformations that poetry has undergone within Modern Turkish Literature through various texts, poets, concepts, and methods. The concepts of \u201clogos\u201d and \u201crhetoric\u201d in the book\u2019s title point to the multifaceted relationship poetry establishes between thought and expression, meaning and form, and the search for truth and aesthetic construction. In this regard, it is not only what poetry says but also how it says it that becomes significant. The aim of examining poetry through the lens of \u201clogos\u201d and \u201crhetoric\u201d is to shed light on the complex relationship between reason, language, emotion, discourse, and aesthetics in poetry. In this regard, poetry is a genre in which emotion and thought are intertwined. According to Necip Faz\u0131l K\u0131sak\u00fcrek, the ideal poem is that magical point where a profound idea merges with an intense aesthetic anguish\u2014that is, emotion\u2014and where it is impossible to discern where one begins and the other ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
