Logos, ak\u0131l y\u00fcr\u00fctmeye, s\u00f6ze, delile, neden-sonu\u00e7 ili\u015fkisine ve mant\u0131kl\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131mlara dayal\u0131 bir kavramd\u0131r. Retorik ise bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceyi etkili ve ikna edici bir \u015fekilde ifade etme sanat\u0131d\u0131r. Bu iki kavram d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin ve s\u00f6z\u00fcn iki farkl\u0131 boyutuyla beraber, edeb\u00ee metnin nas\u0131l kuruldu\u011fu, anlam\u0131n nas\u0131l \u00fcretildi\u011fi ve anlat\u0131n\u0131n okurla nas\u0131l bir ili\u015fki kurdu\u011fu hususlar\u0131n\u0131 da yans\u0131t\u0131r. Abstract:<\/strong>
Logos is a concept based on reasoning, speech, evidence, cause-and-effect relationships, and logical inferences. Rhetoric, on the other hand, is the art of expressing an idea in an effective and persuasive manner. These two concepts, along with two distinct dimensions of thought and speech, also reflect how a literary text is constructed, how meaning is produced, and how the narrative establishes a connection with the reader. In a short story, it is significant how the author incorporates reasoning and cause-and-effect relationships, which words are chosen, what narrative style is employed, and how the reader is influenced. The phrase \u201cfrom logos to rhetoric\u201d can be understood as a shift from logical and rational justification toward an effective form of discourse and persuasion. This study, titled From Logos to Rhetoric: Studies in Modern Turkish Literature\u2014The Short Story<\/em>, holds particular significance for understanding the transformation the short story genre has undergone within Modern Turkish literature and the modernization journey of our literature. Throughout the period spanning from the Tanzimat era to the present, the short story has served as a vehicle for the tensions between tradition and innovation, reality and fiction, the individual and society, reason and emotion, and representation and interpretation. The changes the short story has undergone are also an indicator of the transformation of humanity and, consequently, of literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
