Samson; çizim, resim, heykel ve mimarlık dahil olmak üzere görsel sanatların temel unsurlarını araştırırken, güzellik ve beğeni kavramlarının felsefi doğasını inceler. Antik çağlardan 19. yüzyıla kadar sanat geleneklerinin izini süren çalışma, psikolojik algıyı sanatsal icrayla ilişkilendirir.
