<p><strong>Öz:</strong><br>Lord Brougham’ın bu etkili incelemesi, doğal ilahiyatı tümevarımsal akıl yürütmeye dayanan titiz ve ampirik bir bilim dalı olarak savunmaktadır. Brougham, fiziksel dünyanın ve insan zihninin karmaşık tasarımının incelenmesinin, Yüce bir Varlığın varlığı ve nitelikleri için mantıklı ve gözlemlenebilir kanıtlar sunduğunu öne sürer. Doğal ilahiyatın yöntemini astronomi ve anatomi gibi doğa bilimleriyle karşılaştırarak, bir Yaratıcıya olan inancın bilimsel keşiflerle aynı gözlemsel ilkelere dayandığını gösterir. Ayrıca Brougham, bu çalışmanın ahlaki, zihinsel ve psikolojik faydalarını vurgulayarak, akılcı inancı güçlendirdiğini, insan doğasını yücelttiğini ve bilimsel araştırmayı dini kanaatlerle uyumlu hale getirdiğini ifade eder.<br><strong>Abstract:</strong><br>Lord Brougham’s influential treatise systematically defends natural theology as a rigorous, empirical science grounded in inductive reasoning.
